The town of Tučepi
Tučepi is a small tourist town located in Middle Dalmatia as a part of Makarska Riviera. The town of Makarska is only 4 km away. Tučepi is a town which has been continuously inhabited since the Ancient times. It started to develop more rapidly during the sixties and it is then when it became a more important and a better-known place on the Adriatic tourist map.
The town of Tučepi is proud of their picturesque restaurants and konobas (local restaurants). During the summer, Tučepi nightlife is quite exciting, and if that is not enough for you, Makarska is really close.
The longest beach
Tučepi is famous for its beach, which is the longest one on Makarska Riviera. It is located along a wonderful promenade framed by pine trees. It is the ideal point for many nautical routes offered to boaters, who started to choose Tučepi as their port of departure more and more.
Beautiful nature
Tučepi marina enables the boaters to ashore in a modern yacht and sailboat port. Some of the routes are directed toward the islands of Brač and Hvar which are famous for their amazing beaches and landscapes, but also exciting nightlife.
Nature Park Biokovo is located in the hinterland of Tučepi. It is an ideal place for all nature lovers, hikers and bikers. The park abounds in beautiful sceneries and lookouts. You can also stumble upon areas of specific protection measures such as geomorphologic nature reserves, specific forest vegetation reserves, autochthonous black Dalmatian pine tree forests and more than 40 endemic plants.
The island of Vis and Korčula, which are mostly visited for their gastronomy and a more peaceful vacation, are also near.

Documents
When arriving in Croatia by car it is requested that you carry a valid driver's license, car registration card.
Speed and alcohol limits
Speed limit in settlements is 50 km/h and 80 km/h in out of settlements (unless stated differently). On highways a speed limit is 130 km/h. The maximum permitted level of alcohol in the blood is 0.5 ‰.
Road tolls
You have to pay a road tolls on each highways.
Petrol stations
Petrol stations are open from 7 am to 7 pm or 8 pm every day and during the summer until 10 pm, there are also petrol stations that are opened round the clock in the larger towns and on main international routes all petrol stations sell: Eurosuper 95, Super 98, Normal and Euro Diesel.
